Helped me increase my LSAT score by 13 points. Happily, the $200 investment was well worth it. I raised my LSAT score by 13 points and while I haven't yet made my law school decisions yet (it's only January), I currently have four offers with full-tuition scholarships.

There is no LSAT test material (questions, answers, strategy, etc..) ON the CD. It's specifically about the mental game of taking the LSAT. All of this is described in greater detail on the product page or on our website. The audio material deals with the mental game: focus, concentration, confidence, etc. that is relevant to taking the LSAT (and the sections on it) but NOT the content of the sections themselves. If you'd like to hear a sample, go to the Test Prep New York website.

Doubting Thomas

During my LSAT study period, I used only the first three CDs - one per night, every night. At the most I can say that they were wholly responsible for my test gain, and at the very least I can say that these helped me sleep during a period of high anxiety. The better the sleep I received, the harder I was able to study the next day. The music and drum beats are stunningly beautiful, very clearly and professionally recorded, and the author has a lovely voice (very important if you've ever had the unfortunate experience of listening to a book on tape where an author has an overly-nasal voice, or worse, a horrific accent).

I would definitely recommend this item to those who have had their scores affected by non-content issues: nervousness, rushing during the test, poor pacing during the test, "blanking" out during the test, panicking, etc.

I think this is an excellent, as well as interesting, addition to LSAT studies. The LSAT was built to be a test of intimidation - full of test-makers' psychological tricks. It only makes sense that your LSAT study not only include preparing for the content of the exam, but also preparing for the psychological part of the exam.
