Doug is founding member and Partner with a NYC Capital Management firm involved in trading Equities, Futures and Options.  It is active in new issue, spot and secondary trading markets.  In addition they develops automated trading algorithms and use them in trading the equity and futures.  Doug has been involved in the financial markets for over 20 years as a Broker, Trader, Analyst and Algorithmic developer at Drexel Burnham Lambert, EchoTrade a affiliate of Merrill Lynch and Avatar Securities in New York. He has employed varying strategies from high frequency to swing trading practices, to hedged Long/Short equity portfolio management.  Returns have varied through the years depending on the strategies employed from a 500% return in 2000 to more recent returns of -15% to +25%.   Doug is very familiar with many series 7 issues from personal hands on experience.  He uses multiple options strategies in his trading and portfolio management to enhance the return of securities and optimize the risk-return profile of portfolios. Ken has worked on Wall Street since 1989 starting in Risk Arbitrage for a Hedge Fund,following that he moved to the NYSE as a sales trader. In the mid 2000’s he started his switch to the compliance end of the business and quickly moved up to his current position as Chief Compliance Officer of G2 Trading. He supervises over 250 traders and creates policy for the firm.  In 2004 ken started teaching Finra exam test prep using his work experiences and examples to make learning points crystal clear to his students. Ken has taught over 3000 students covering all the Finra qualifying exams. He is one of the few teachers that has actually traded most of the products taught on the Finra exams and has a very high pass rate.
